Ecommerce management.

Someone keeping an eye on the store while you run the business.

This is the ongoing work after a store is live: product and collection updates, speed and app housekeeping, checkout and conversion fixes, seasonal changes, and keeping the tracking honest so your numbers mean something. It is monthly, cancellable with thirty days' notice after an initial period, and reported on one page. If you need the store built or replatformed first, that is the Shopify design page. This page is for stores already trading that nobody is currently looking after properly.

What actually needs managing on a Shopify store?

More than most owners have time for, less than most agencies bill for.

The real list: keeping product data accurate, watching for pages that have quietly slowed down, pruning apps you stopped using but still pay for, fixing checkout friction, updating collections seasonally, and checking the tracking still works after every theme change.

None of it is glamorous. All of it costs you money when nobody does it.

How do I know if my store is leaking money?

Look at three numbers in your own Shopify analytics: conversion rate, add-to-cart rate and checkout completion.

If people add to basket and then vanish at checkout, the problem is friction, not traffic. If nobody adds to basket at all, the problem is your product pages or your pricing.

That five-minute check tells you where to spend before anyone sells you an ad budget.

How is this different from marketing?

This is the shop floor, not the advertising.

Marketing brings people to the door. Ecommerce management makes sure the shop is tidy, the shelves are stocked, the till works and nothing trips you on the way in.

Plenty of businesses buy more of the first while quietly losing money on the second. If you only have budget for one right now, fix the shop.

Questions people ask us

Can you manage a store you did not build?
Yes, and it is most of this work. The first month is usually an audit: what is installed, what is slowing it down, what is broken, and what is costing you money quietly. You get that written up in plain English regardless of whether we continue. Inheriting someone else's build is normal in this trade, and we will be straight about anything we find rather than using it as leverage for a rebuild pitch.
How much time does it actually take each month?
It varies with catalogue size and how much changes. Small stores with stable products might need a few hours a month, larger or seasonal businesses need considerably more. Rather than selling you a fixed block of hours, we will scope what your store genuinely needs and price that. If a month turns out lighter than expected, we will tell you and we will spend the time on something else useful, not invent work to fill it.
Do you handle stock, orders and customer service?
No. That is your business and you will always run it better than an outside supplier. We handle the technical and commercial side of the storefront: how it works, how fast it is, how well it converts and what the numbers say. If you need help with warehousing, fulfilment or support staffing, we will happily point you toward people who do that properly rather than pretending a web studio is the answer.
