Shopify and ecommerce websites.
Stores built to sell, then handed over properly.
We design and build Shopify stores for UK businesses: new stores, replatforms, and rescues of stores that look fine but do not convert. The work covers theme development, product and collection structure, checkout, payments, shipping, apps and tracking. Every store is built on your own Shopify account, with your payment details and your domain, so you own it outright from day one. Typical build takes four to eight weeks. You get a fixed quote up front and a store you can actually run yourself afterwards.

What makes a Shopify store actually sell?
Not the theme. The theme is the easy bit.
Selling comes from the unglamorous work: product pages that answer the question a buyer is silently asking, collections organised how customers think rather than how your warehouse does, a checkout with nothing extra in the way, and a site fast enough that nobody leaves while it loads.
Most stores we are asked to rescue do not need redesigning. They need the friction taking out.
Should I use a Shopify theme or a custom build?
Usually a theme, customised properly. A good premium theme gets you eighty per cent of the way for a fraction of the cost, and Shopify keeps it updated.
Custom development earns its place when you have unusual products, a complex configurator, or a brand experience that genuinely differentiates you. We will tell you honestly which camp you are in, including when the answer is "your current theme is fine, spend the money on traffic instead".

Who owns the store when we are done?
You do, completely.
The Shopify account is in your name with your billing details. The domain is registered to you. App subscriptions are yours. We work as a staff member on your account, and when the project ends you can remove our access with two clicks.
If that sounds like the bare minimum, you would be surprised. Check your own registrar and Shopify billing today: whose name is on them?

Questions people ask us
- Can you move my existing store to Shopify?
- Yes. Migrations from WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce and custom builds are routine. The important parts are keeping your URLs mapped so you do not lose search rankings, moving products and customer data cleanly, and testing checkout thoroughly before switching over. Large catalogues take longer and cost more, which is why migrations sit at the upper end of the price band. We will tell you before starting whether the move is genuinely worth it for you.
- Will my Google rankings survive a rebuild?
- They will if the rebuild is done properly, and this is where a lot of damage gets done quietly. Rankings survive when URLs are preserved or redirected one to one, page structure and content are carried across, and speed does not regress. Rankings drop when a shiny new site launches with new URLs and no redirect map. Ask any agency for their redirect plan before they build. If they look blank, that is your answer.
- Do I need paid apps, and who pays for them?
- Some are worth it, most are not, and every one you add slows the store down. We keep the stack as small as the job allows and tell you what each app costs annually before it goes in. Subscriptions go on your account and your card. If an app is only there because it makes our life easier rather than making you money, it should not be there at all.
- How long until the store is live?
- Four to eight weeks for most projects, depending on catalogue size, whether we are migrating, and how quickly product photography and copy come together. That last part is usually the bottleneck, so we will give you a content checklist on day one. If you need something live faster for a launch date or a season, say so on the call and we can scope a leaner first version and build out from there.
